'Service-Counter' is a separate domain in Employment Bank where individuals having skill in some trade / profession / service will post such skill with expected remuneration per hour / per day/per piece rate. On the other hand individuals in search of such services will post their requirements and will get list of service providers as per such requirement. Service Providers (those who will post their services in Employment Bank) are advised to read the Terms of Use carefully. Acceptance of the Terms of Use is necessary for further access to the web portal. Directorate of Employment under Labour Department, Government of West Bengal reserves the right, to modify the terms, either partially or fully at any time. The Service Provider will be solely responsible for any information supplied by him/her and updating it periodically. Information so received from the Service Provider shall be accessible by any Service Seeker (any individual in search of the services), using the Employment Bank portal. Employment Directorate under the Government of West Bengal shall not undertake any verification of information of the service-seekers. Employment Directorate is neither responsible for the selection/non selection of any service-provider by any service-seeker, nor it shall be responsible for any loss or damage caused to the Service Provider for using the services of the web portal. Uploading of irrelevant, defamatory, obscene, communal, racist, offensive, abusive, hateful, discriminatory contents or resume whether implicitly or explicitly is strictly prohibited. Employment Bank portal must not be used for causing social tension, anxiety, harassment, inconvenience or embarrassment, or disturbing the spirit of national integration to any person or group of persons. No one shall use the services-counter of the Employment Bank Portal for any illegal or immoral purpose with malafide intentions and ulterior motives. The Employment Bank West Bengal shall have the discretion to allow / reject/discontinue permission for enrollment without assigning any reason. The State Government, the Labour Department and the Employment Directorate shall not be held responsible for non-payment or under payment or any payment related disputes or about the quality of service rendered or quantity. Penal action shall be taken for violation of any of the terms of use or for supplying inaccurate information and particulars of such persons shall be immediately removed from database. The Service-Providers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their password and account and will immediately notify through 'CONTACT US' of any unauthorized use of their account and password. For settlement of any legal dispute, the jurisdiction shall be at Calcutta High Court or subordinate judiciary as the case may be within territorial boundaries of West Bengal.
